It's been two days now that I'm unable to access anisearch.net. Is it offline or temporarily under some sort of maintenance? Is anyone else having problems accessing the site?

Anisearch is gone and won't come back if you ask me. Any admin that wants to keep it's visitors would at least make a post here to comfort them.

Its discouraging to see the 404 forbidden on the sight, it seems ill have to search individually witch limits the over all verity of any search at all; being that I cannot remember all the places anisearch accessed, that and well a safe search option was a + even if it wasn’t used by the bulk of the populace.
Safesearch is availible on most of the sites. And for a list, try overbooru. Or just use gelbooru, danbooru, and konachan.

I made it more as an experiment. the engine is fairly small and database layer is abstracted. it actually supports very complex conditions with 'infinite' nesting but I doubt much people including myself would need that in this project.
