To crawl a site, it needs to provide an API that provides image data, like http://danbooru.donmai.us/help/api
Unfortunately, I can't seem to find one for Gallery2.
Also, to retrieve the images in a search, images need to have tags associated with the images. A scoring system on the site where users have voted on the images is also preferred, to be able to show the best pictures for a search first.
Thanks for the info dawl0! I tend to add tags to the images that I upload but not many people like to do the same. So many images to tag.... Too many to even think on doing :P I will see what I can manage to get my site crawled from your information, thanks!
The lack of tag filtering is the only problem with this amazing site. A big problem though.
i realize it's a somewhat complex feature likely beyond the scope of the software that indexes the *booru sites, but is it at all possible?
I mean to say, tag combinations -- i.e:
tag1 tag2 (find only the posts tagged with both of these)
tag1 -tag2 (find only the posts tagged with the first tag but NOT the last tag)

Yes, I would looove this feature so much. Or at least be able to put a word in quotations to narrow the result. Like for example if I wanted images for "tit fuck", right now I would type that in and get 8 billion results for both "tit" and "fuck".

Wy are all the images I search for filtered? I keep looking for a way to shut the filter off...Hell I can't even figgure out how to post! T^T
loli + rating explicit was problematic on the old hosting. It'll be possible to disable when I update the site.
Regarding how to post, you can't! Post to your favorite booru site, and it'll be searchable here within a day :)

Now also indexing gelbooru. Current index size 477342 images.
